I live in the Paris region, in the charming town of Esbly, just 30 minutes from central Paris, in a spacious house with a large garden (please note that there are quite a few stairs). Esbly offers all essential amenities, including bakeries, pharmacies and restaurants, and is served by the Transilien P train line, which connects directly to Paris Gare de l’Est in about 30 minutes.
My family and I lived in New Caledonia for eight years. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, North Africa and the Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vanuatu, Fiji and Tahiti. I particularly enjoy intercultural exchanges and discovering new cultures.
I am the mother of three grown-up, travel-loving children: Théo (24), Lila (20) and Jade (17). Today, I have the opportunity to devote much of my free time to welcoming guests. We are a close-knit and active family, all passionate about sports, music and culture. My daughter Jade plays the piano and would be delighted to introduce you to the instrument during your stay. I also love cooking and would be happy to prepare traditional French dishes as well as specialties from New Caledonia.
We also share our home with our large and very friendly dog, Rush, who loves meeting new people.
I have been a primary school teacher for 25 years and hold a Master’s degree (Master 1) in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from the University of Rouen in Normandy. I am passionate about teaching the French language and culture, as well as everything related to the French-speaking world.
I have three years of experience as a French as a Foreign Language teacher. I have taught French to adults through organizations such as the Red Cross in New Caledonia, and in France I have also taught migrant teenagers.
Thanks to my diverse teaching experience, both with my young pupils in primary school and with my FLE students, I have developed a strong ability to adapt to different learners and I always strive to meet the needs of students with varying language levels.
