My 15-year-old son spent 3 weeks with Georgianna and Anna and had a wonderful time and his French improved significantly. If you’re looking for a true immersive experience rather than a group exchange where most of the time is spent with other English-speaking people, this is a great option. Anna and Georgianna and their lovely families welcomed him with open arms and treated him like one of the family. This is his feedback: Overall, I liked this program very much. I spoke French the entire time which really helped me improve speaking French. The classes were very interactive, they are taught at your level and focus on all 4 testing categories: reading writing, speaking, and listening. In addition to classes you get to spend the afternoons sightseeing, learning about the culture of the city, and playing games with the family.Posted on Google
Sandra StantonIf you really want to learn French and truly immerse yourself in the culture, this is the way to go. I stayed in my own comfortable apartment below Georgianna’s home. I had one-on-one instruction every morning, time to converse with her and her family during some meals, and enjoyed some outings: hiking, visiting a castle, making ratatouille with her, and an open market. Georgianna is an excellent teacher, knowing how to pull her student’s strengths and interests into her instruction. Her family was so gracious and hospitable. I enjoyed interacting with the whole family! Saint Remy Les Chevreuse is a lovely town of 7,000 people, with a beautiful park, lake and trails. If you want to practice your French, this is a very friendly town to practice in!Posted on Google
Ro HI did a two-week immersion in Paris. I wanted to improve my oral/written comprehension and conversational skills whilst learning more about French life, art and culture. I spent the first week with Catherine and the second with Fabienne. Prior to my arrival, they collaborated on which lessons to give me. Catherine focused on Gallo-Roman history and creative writing, and Fabienne focused on communication, pronunciation and linguistics. They are both very passionate and engaging teachers. The experience they each gave me was invaluable. If you ever have an opportunity, I recommend an immersion at teacher's home. The one-on-one interaction will allow you to learn and partake in daily French life.Posted on Google

Georgiana Provided three hours of professional instruction every morning, very delicious and healthy meals, comfortable and Private accommodations, interesting explorations of the area every afternoon, And dinner in a family environment. Dean BoydI had a three-week French immersion experience with Georgiana. If you really want to work on your French, I recommend her whole heartedly. She is an outstanding teacher who has the ability to assess your skill level and tailor your lessons accordingly. I never felt that lessons were “canned” or by-the-book, they were always targeted to my needs. But the experience was much more than just an educational experience. Living “en famille” made it an engaging personal experience as well. Georgiana’s entire family was very welcoming and supportive. And while Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse is not a popular tourist destination, I thoroughly enjoyed myself exploring the chateaus, villages, and nature in the area (when I was not studying of course!). My only regret is that I did not have the experience ten years ago. Immersion is definitely the way to learn a language! I could not recommend the experience with Georgiana more highly.Posted on Google
Brenda DrakeJ'ai passé deux semaines avec Georgiana et sa famille à St Remy les Chevreuse. C'était mon deuxième séjour en immersion avec eux, et c'était encore une fois un grand plaisir. Georgiana créait un programme fort qui s'occupait des points de grammaire que je trouve difficiles. Les excursions qu'elle a organisé ainsi que les moments avec la famille étaient un régal. À la fin des deux semaines, c'était clair que j'avais fait beaucoup de progrès avec mon français. Cela m'a beaucoup encouragé. Sally BBThis was my first time that I have done a French immersion course in France with a French teacher. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this learning experience. Georgiana and her family made the French language experience very authentic and you felt like apart of her family. The children were also so helpful and we only spoke French during all the meals and excursions. The best way to learn a language is to live it and with Georgiana and her family, you have the chance to live life the way the French live their daily lives. Her home was very welcoming and the small town of St Remy les Chevreuse is very quaint and full of interesting historical sites to see. You are only 40 minutes outside of Paris, so you can have the best of both worlds: access to the city as well as the peace and quiet of the countryside.Posted on Google

Nancy StevensGeorgiana provides a five star French immersion experience from "in class" teaching to excursions such as trips to a farm and historic sites to sharing her delicious meals with her delightful family.
