I am an experienced French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher with over twenty years of international teaching experience across countries such as Scotland, England, Japan, Ecuador, Mexico, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Fluent in English, with a strong understanding of Spanish and some knowledge of Japanese, I have developed a deep appreciation for language learning and cultural adaptation. My extensive background allows me to tailor lessons to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, ensuring a personalized and effective approach.

Since returning to Saint-Malo in 2022, I have been sharing my passion for language and culture through immersive French learning experiences.

Beyond teaching, I am a passionate traveler with a keen interest in spirituality, yoga, and Wing Chun, a traditional Chinese martial art. My open-minded and dynamic approach to life is reflected in my teaching style, where I prioritize communication and real-life practice. I incorporate interactive methods such as vocabulary card sets and structured grammar exercises while encouraging students to engage in authentic activities like shopping at the market or cooking a French recipe. For me, learning French is not just about grammar and vocabulary—it’s about experiencing the language in a meaningful, everyday context.
