With over twelve years of experience teaching French as a Foreign Language, I bring to the classroom not only pedagogical expertise but also a truly international perspective. I spent my childhood in Nigeria, from the age of five to thirteen, completed my secondary education and earned my French Baccalaureate in Jakarta, Indonesia, and later worked for five years in the Republic of Congo in the mobile telecommunications sector. I also spent several years in Morocco, where I taught both French language and literature in a French high school as well as French as a Foreign Language in embassies, cultural institutions, and NGOs. These life and teaching experiences across multiple continents have deeply shaped my worldview and instilled in me a strong appreciation for cultural diversity. This global outlook is central to my teaching philosophy and enriches the relationships I build with my students.
I hold a Master’s in Arts, Literature, and Languages from the University of Nantes and a Master’s in Anthropology, Sociology, and History from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Marseille.
I’ve taught French in a wide range of contexts—from French lycées abroad to universities and professional environments—working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. My approach is student-centered and adaptive, placing great emphasis on understanding how each learner thinks and learns, and helping them gain confidence through meaningful, personalized instruction. Passionate about literature and history, I see language as a gateway to cultural
I have pursued a multidisciplinary academic path that reflects both my passion for languages and my deep interest in social and cultural dynamics. I hold a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from the Université de Nantes, with a specialization in Teaching Engineering. This program equipped me with advanced pedagogical tools and expertise in curriculum design, intercultural training, and educational innovation, particularly for adult and professional learners.
Prior to that, I completed a Master’s degree in Socio-Anthropology of Development at the prestigious École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Marseille. This research-based program allowed me to explore development issues through the lenses of anthropology, history, and sociology, and to strengthen my critical and analytical skills.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Development Project Engineering at the Université Michel de Montaigne in Bordeaux, where I developed a strong foundation in project management and international cooperation. Earlier in my studies, I earned an Advanced Diploma (BTS) in Tourism Management in Paris, which introduced me to professional communication and service-oriented sectors.
Finally, I graduated with a French Baccalaureate in Literature from the Lycée Français de Singapour (Singapour was the Southeast Asian examination center but I lived in Jakarta), an experience that nurtured my love for travels, discovery, literature, philosophy, languages, and laid the groundwork for my future teaching career.
